Chief Salami appealed for the official release of the list of APC candidates for the 2027 general election.
In a statement tagged: “Party supremacy must prevail”, Oloye Salami urged all APC members in Kosofe to respect the party’s decision and rally round the candidate.

“As committed progressives, our duty is to respect the supremacy of the party and rally behind its decision, regardless of our individual preferences. Politics is a journey, not a destination.
“Every contest produces winners and those who must wait for another opportunity. It is worth remembering that many who feel disappointed today have, at one time or another, benefited from the same party process that has now produced Mayor Dele Oshinowo as our candidate.
