Kafilat Ogbara, Member representing Kosofe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, who joined fellow lawmakers, customs stakeholders, policy experts, and industry professionals at the House Committee on Customs and Excise International Retreat and Capacity-Building Study Tour.
The retreat was themed:
“Advancing Legislative Oversight in Customs & Excise: Future-Ready Customs; Legislative Strategies for Trade, Security, and Innovation.”
KEY LAWMAKERS IN ATTENDANCE
The retreat brought together members of the House Committee on Customs and Excise, including:
Hon. Leke Abejide
Chairman, House Committee on Customs and Excise.
As chairman of the committee, Hon. Abejide plays a leading role in legislative oversight of customs operations, trade facilitation, revenue generation, and anti-smuggling policies.
Hon. Kafilat Ogbara
Member representing Kosofe Federal Constituency.
