Mayor Dele Oshinowo has moved into the formal 2027 campaign phase with a fresh message declaring that “the time is now” and arguing that Kosofe needs representation that “listens, understands and delivers.”
The timing matters. Under INEC’s revised 2027 timetable, the Presidential and National Assembly campaign period opens on August 19, 2026, with the election scheduled for January 16, 2027.
For OgasTv Grassroots, the story now shifts from internal APC positioning to campaign substance.
The relevant question is no longer simply whether Oshinowo has the ticket.
It is whether his campaign will now produce a measurable Kosofe Federal Agenda.
That agenda should answer seven practical questions:
- What bills or motions would he prioritise in the House?
- Which federal infrastructure projects would he pursue for Kosofe?
- What is his plan for jobs and youth enterprise?
- What federal healthcare interventions would he target?
- What education and skills initiatives would he support?
- How accessible will his constituency office be?
- How will residents measure his performance?
